You can find flamingos in a couple of places in Walt Disney World. There is, of course, the habitat found along the Kilimanjaro Safari trail, but that's not the best place to see them. If you want to get a real close view and snap some awesome photos, head over to the Jambo House at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and just behind the main pool you will find them.
As you can also see, there are a few local ducks who also hang around the area and pull off a few photo bombs.

A Weaver Caught in the Act
I can watch the weavers all day. They are a flurry of activity at the Pangani aviary. The males, a sparrow like golden bird, spends a lot of time and energy trying to attract females. In the case of the weaver, that's in the form of building elaborate nests. They will use twigs, leaves, even feathers like here.
These can beautiful birds are found the in aviary, as well. Take a few moments to watch them do their thing. They are gorgeous and entertaining.

Crane for a View
African Crowned Cranes are popular at Disney's Animal Kingdom. There are a lot of spots where you can find these guys: Kidani Village, during Flights of Wonder, at queue for Kilimanjaro Safari, and at the Tree of Life. This photo was taken at the Tree. If you are lucky, you may get a chance these birds do their dance which includes exaggerate bowing and jumping.
This beautiful bird is the national bird of Uganda, and is featured on its flag and in its coat of arms.

Just a Bit Camera Shy
The Roan Antelope is a majestic animal, with impressive coloring and even more impressive antlers. With such beauty, you would think they would love the camera, but this one ducked into the brush just as we were getting close enough for a good photo.

Eating the Scenery
Let's be honest, every day is a good day for a gorilla photo! I love this one, but truth be told, my collections has dozens and dozens of photos of these photogenic friends!
I often think photos like this must drive the horticulture experts at the Animal Kingdom crazy. All that work making things pretty and the gorillas eat it! But in actuality, the experts love it.
